Growing up!

She is growing up so fast! Today after she was done eating lunch she said "nap please!" She loves to help in the kitchen- this is her dumping almonds out and then putting them back in the measuring cup one by one- the whole time saying "make a mess!" and "clean up, clean up."

My big girl is so stinkin cute!

Please try to tune me out in the video below and just focus on the big girl she is becoming! No, I am not trying out for American Idol anytime soon... Luckily Blue does get to hear some decent singing from her dad!

All from listening to toddler music in the car. It makes me want to wear ear plugs, but if it gets us from point A to point B with a happy little girl I guess it is worth it... plus it looks like she is learning something!

Halloween

Halloween was a ton of fun this year seeing as how Blue understood the basic concept of getting candy and was therefore very excited!

We carved pumpkins one night as a family. She was not a big fan. I posted a video so you can see what I mean. We kept telling her that the pumpkin was nice and he said "Hello Blueberry!" So now if you ask her what anything says (a turkey, Santa, etc) she responds, "Hello Blueberry!"

(I only asked her to say trampoline because I love the way she says it-
I know, totally random.)

She was a cute little pink butterfly for Halloween. Fancy Nancy has a Bonjour Butterfly book we got from the library that really warmed Blue up to the idea :)

She LOVED the candy!

We went over to Mark's bro's house on Saturday and then my bro's house on Sunday. It was terrific and Blue loved seeing her cousins so much!

Helping to put away the Halloween decorations. She still mentions the spiders and kitty. I guess turkeys and pilgrims are just not as cool?

Chicken nuggets

Just had to share- I just laid Blue down for her nap and sat down to the computer to work and I hear "chicken nuggets, chicken nuggit, chicken nuggot". Yes, that is what she had for lunch- I think she is practicing saying it! She used to just call them nunnets, but since she has mastered the word chicken she must be working on getting the Grrr sound into nuggets! The other night I was getting into bed and heard Santa several times clear as day from her. The best part? She was sound asleep. I promise. I had just checked 30 seconds before I heard "Santa" coming from her room!
