Note to self...

1. Never put toys in the play pen that could be misconstrued as a stepladder.

2. Enjoy the days when it is still funny to see her stick her tongue out at me and go around half-naked

3. One day she will want to ride around in something fancier and more expensive than a laundry basket

4. Doing the laundry will not always be this eventful

5. Vacuuming the house will not always be this eventful (and loading the dishwasher, and sweeping, and putting toys away...)

6. When you feel poor and can't buy that ____ just remember how much fun it was to see her play with her new toy

7. Learn from the past, prepare for the future, but always
