Blueberry photo catch-up

Just downloaded some pics from the camera, so I figured I would do another photo post of Blue since that is all anyone really wants to see anyway!

She only wears headbands when she is pulling them all out of the basket and putting them all on at once-- around her neck!

Enjoying a summer rain

Daddy throwing her in the air

Best rainbow I think I have ever seen (double one at that!)

This is what I get when I tell her to smile now- CHEESE!

See any resemblance?

Still loving the forts!

This is the best thing I have come up with for keeping her happy and not underfoot when I am trying to do stuff in the kitchen. Especially because one of her favorite things is to "hep" (help) me

For a special treat: a 2-stool fort! Notice the babies inside too...

2 buck Tuesday at Thanksgiving Point!

Enjoying a different day at Thanksgiving Point- this is the cheese of all cheese (thanks Jenn for capturing this!!!) I know she has been called 'solid' and other generously nice things by family and friends, but a handful of other words come to my mind when I see this picture with her little shorts hiked up around those ample thighs and that amazing double chin coming out for a show! (You may have to click on the pic to enlarge and get the full effect!) What a cutie!

A favorite place in South Jordan- I get to visit Material Girls Quilt store and then she gets to play in the water if she behaves while I shop!

Cheesing while "heping" in the kitchen. She even pulls over the chair and climbs up all by herself now!

Just cheesing in general...

When did she figure out how to undress herself? Great! Now there will be no stopping her from running around "necky" (naked!)

Just chillin and reading her favorite book- Fancy Nancy aka "Nany"- Thanks Grandma Sugar! You have the best taste in children's books!

Possible Halloween costume??? As long as she doesn't grow any taller- the largest this one goes is 24 mo. and her legs are pushing the limit of those tights right now!

Mom sayings

I don't know about you and your mom, but when I was growing up there were a few sayings that my mom had that we heard over and over. I guess I have already started:

This morning Blue woke up unusually early (after going to bed an hour later than normal to boot!). I think the third or fourth word out of her mouth was hungry, so that might answer the early hour. Anyway, while I was feeding her and eating myself she was whiny so I told her my typical, "Whiny babies take more naps." Her mood did not improve after breakfast either and later I asked her why she was whining and she replied, "Nap." I told her that was a good idea and laid her in her crib! She chilled in there for about 10 minutes and then wanted out. I took her out, and her mood has improved! If she is already catching on, maybe I should develop more motivational phrases for our family...

9:30am edit: Her mood apparently was not improved. I was forced to follow through for real on my whiny babies take more naps threat and put her down again. Needless to say she was not very happy about this. She cried and threw a tantrum and stubbornly decided not to lay down for her nap. Her body finally gave in though despite her stubborn will to remain sitting...

It's a GIRL!

Yep, another girl at the Pidcock house! I hope Mark can handle it... Heck, I grew up with brothers- I hope I can handle it!

Still at it

I think she likes watching herself more than actually dancing! Love that little nod at the end- "Yep, that's exactly what I want to do."

Camping and boating weekend o'fun

This weekend we went boating and camping and had so much fun. Blueberry loved the boat, the water, sleeping in a tent, and especially getting dirty!

What? I shouldn't slide down the dirt hill on my belly?

She loved swimming, especially with her daddy, even though the water was COLD! (to a NC girl)

But then you get to snuggle and get warm with dad

Just before dozing off...

She loved tubing with mom

But later dad scared her by bellyflopping onto the tube!

Dad got to enjoy some early morning wonderful wakeboarding water

While we just tried to keep warm!

This is how she helped take down camp- bowl on the head and Trix on the ground- not what I suggested, but she is an independent thinker! Good thing I didn't give her any milk with the cereal...

We realized we need a bigger car!

Cell phone camera

Just downloaded the pics from my cell phone and had to post some cute ones... I wish that I remembered our real camera more often when we are out!

Sunscreen in the hair- Yes! She has some hair!

Blue and Dad at the Herriman "Lake"

Pioneer day- she loved the lambies

But not the goats...

and then she zonked in the stroller!

Helping bake!

NEW Berry?

Yes, we are adding another berry to the bunch over at the Pidcock's. Well, to be fair we have called the new baby a couple of different things like New Berry, Grape, Number 2, and Blue's favorite- Bebe. So far no nickname has stuck, so this one might actually have a name that sounds normal and that I can call out in public without getting interesting stares...

Due date= January 18
Ultrasound to find out if all parts are accounted for= Aug 16
Currently= 14 weeks (hurray for the second trimester!)
Barfing= minimal (hurray x a million for baby #2!)
Heartbeat= 160 something- Dr. guessed it might be a girl... we will see!
